    Canada Warbler / Cardellina canadensis

    : Breeds. late May-late Jul in cool, wet deciduous and mixed forests with a well-defined understory. Clark Point Road and Sieur de Monts have suitable habitat.

    Migrant: mid May-early Jun and early/mid Aug-late Sep with a late Aug/early Sep peak and to late Sep, in places where migrants concentrate.

    Miscellany: Canada Warbler is one of the last migrants to arrive and the first to leave. Some may spend barely six weeks here before returning to their winter homes centered in e. Colombia and the n. Andes of Peru and Ecuador.
