: late Oct-early Apr on saltwater with from early Oct and to early Jun. late Oct-early Apr but few data. Most mainland records from Schoodic Point. No confirmed records from fresh water but inland with other roosting gulls during easterly storms.
Miscellany: Iceland Gulls used to be routine Nov-Mar at active fish packing plants. These have been closed since the 1990s so wintering birds are now dispersed. The Iceland Gull subspecies in our area is kumlieni. Neither of the other two subspecies, thayeri and glaucoides has been recorded.
