: One found dead Aug 1964 at Seawall. Specimen was retained by Barbara Patterson of Somesville but its present location is unknown. The only other records are Aug 16, 2022 off Hadley Point and Jul 30, 2023 in the Great Pool on Cranberry Island. In the period July 25-30, 2023, four Least Terns were recorded in Hancock (3, including the one above) and Washington (1) Counties (photo: eBird /checklist/S145620990). All were adults and all probably connected to the passage a few days earlier off Nova Scotia of Hurricane Don.
