: early Aug to late Sep, usually in association with Bonaparte's Gulls. The most was Sep 3, 2022 in Seal Cove. No Oct-May records.

Miscellany: In the early 1970s, one or two Little Gulls spent the early winter with a small flock of Bonaparte's Gulls in Cromwell Cove, Bar Harbor attracted presumably to sewage effluent. There have been few records in recent years, perhaps related to the decline in Bonaparte's Gulls.
