Miscellany: Olive-sided Flycatcher was a fairly common and conspicuous breeder in our open spruce woodlands and bogs through the 1960s and 1970s when its thrilling song could be heard widely. Listen here. Their population has declined markedly since then and while they still breed within 50 miles of MDI, there are no recent records here.
