    Orange-crowned Warbler / Leiothlypis celata

: mid-late May and late Sep-late Oct, with from mid Sep and to early Dec. Prefers open areas with weeds and low shrubs and places where migrants gather

: with five widely spaced records mid Dec-late Mar, the most Mar 26, 2022 on Little Cranberry Island. At least three spent multiple weeks at feeding stations.

Miscellany: Probably under reported, especially in fall, when passage comes at a time when few observers are in the field. Late Aug-early Sep records need to rule out the somewhat similar Tennessee Warbler.
