: mid May-early Jun with to mid Jun. Hard to detect unless singing, and if singing hard to separate from Red-eyed Vireo. late Aug-early Oct with an early/mid Sep peak and from mid Aug and to mid Oct. Favors deciduous second growth, forest edges, thickets and places where migrants concentrate.
Miscellany: Philadelphia Vireo have not been confirmed as a breeder but singing birds have lingered into mid Jun and the species is a scarce breeder just 50+ miles to the north.
