: Formerly nested in some numbers on Petit Manan Island but the last confirmed nesting was in 2013. late May-mid Jul around the tern colony on Petit Manan Island. Elsewhere, in the same time frame with most records of single birds associating with Common and/or Arctic Terns around breeding colonies.
Migration: mid May-mid June and again mid Aug-mid Sep but no confirmed records.
Miscellany: Up until the mid 1990s, Petit Manan had around 50 pairs of breeding Roseates but numbers thereafter declined steadily. There is no known cause for the decline.
