: mid Mar-mid Apr and again mid Oct-early Dec with all accepted records from fresh water, notably Hamilton Pond.
Miscellany: Most Ruddies nest, migrate and winter well to the west and south of us but they have appeared as intermittent breeders from eastern Manitoba and Minnesota east to the Maritimes and northern Maine.
